The results of the Doodle poll for our first meeting are complete.  The most popular date is Tuesday 8^th January 14:00 – 15:00 (UTC).  I will send a calendar appointment for this date in a few minutes time.  The list service is now up to 34 members.  If you haven’t subscribed yet, then please do so.  I am planning to use the list service to distribute information about future meetings after our first meeting is complete.

I am still pulling the agenda for the first meeting together and will aim to circulate later today.  I look forward to speaking with you all on Tuesday!

There are 23 members of the list so far and I will send a message via the list soon.

Dear Fellow Trade Finance SIG members,

My name is Will Lovell.  As you may already be aware, I have taken up chair for the HyperLedger Trade Finance Working Group.  I'm very excited to have this opportunity to work with you all in one of the areas where open source and distributed ledger technology have so much to bring.  I will be responsible for traffic control in this group for the next three months. After this time you will all be asked to either accept my guidance, or put forward other candidates.

We will be sending a separate email asking you to introduce yourself, for now please review the information below and make sure you sign up to the TFSIG mailing list, as this is where all the communication will be happening : We have created a  trade-finance-sig@... .

Charter:TF-SIG proposal

Real-time Chat - At Hyperledger, we utilize Rocket.Chat, an open source alternative to Slack. We have created the #trade-finance-sig channel for real-time collaboration between members of the Hyperledger Trade Finance SIG. You will require a Linux Foundation ID, which you can obtain from https://identity.linuxfoundation.org.

Mailing Lists - As you know, we use https://lists.hyperledger.org for discussions that we would like to have a history. We have created a  trade-finance-sig@... for this working group.

All Hyperledger community meetings require that we follow the LF AntiTrust Policy.
