[Hyperledger Project TSC] May I disable github.com/hyperledgerwikis?

I agree. Having discussed this with Ram earlier today, I've come to the conclusion that we cannot just pull the plug on the github wiki. Instead it would be better to have redirects in place of old pages, otherwise all the links in the mail archives and elsewhere will be left dangling.

I don't know if we can have redirects on github wiki, if not we should replace existing pages with a simple page that contains a link to the new page a la "Page moved to [new page](new url)"

Either way, although a bit risky, we may need to re-enable writing on the github wiki so that old pages can be disposed of.

Ry - Please do not yet disable https://github.com/hyperledger/hyperledger/wiki. Not everything has been migrated.
Arnaud  - I agree it’s confusing. But, that’s because edit on the old wiki was turned off, so no one can add disclaimers about what’s been migrated and what’s not yet. Also, 100% agree on time-boxing and on issue with lack of slack history.
Georg Link’s migrated some pages and provided a few regexs to ease some conversion steps. That was quite helpful.
Earlier, I shared a inventory spreadsheet of pages to be migrated. I have migrated some myself, but I am certain not all are done. I’ll double-check on what’s left and revert.

WRT the attached email from Arnaud, may I disable the github wikis? In particular:
I'm not speaking of Sawtooth Lake and Iroha projects in general.

While I'm all for experimenting with an alternative to Slack which I like using but is pretty terrible without history, I think we need to try and time-box these experiments a bit better. Failing to do so means we end up with the old systems and the new ones running in parallel for long periods of time which makes things very confusing.

For instance, the current situation with github wiki and wiki hyperledger means there is a lot of duplicated info and it's not clear to the reader which is the most up-to-date. I think we need to put an end to this and retire github wiki.
