The Capital Markets SIG is migrating its mailing list to the financial markets sig. The name change is well underway.

We note that there were 235 members in the email list for capital markets, but only 18 in financial markets SIG(less than 8%). I am working with the admins to migrate members to the new list without friction and without registration.

The Hyperledger Global Forum (HGF) is happening in Dublin, Sept 12-14. As we are members of the SIG we have one free ticket to the event to give away (worth a few hundred dollars). We are planning to have presentations coordinated by the Financial Markets SIG at HGF, these will be more topical and separate from the HGF presentations coordinated by the program committee. If anyone is already planning to come to the event, and wants to win the free ticket, it would be great to present on a topic you are familiar with and relevant to the Financial Markets SIG. 

The best person to do this would be an active member of the SIG. Let us collaborate on a presentation or a theme and talk about this at the next meeting of the SIG on July 13 at 10 AM EDT. Responses by email are also welcome. I can suggest some themes for these special presentations.
