In September, I sent an announcement to the Hyperledger Technical Discuss list regarding integration with Ethereum in enterprise environments via web3j and Nethereum (https://lists.hyperledger.org/pipermail/hyperledger-technical-discuss/2016-September/000407.html). web3j (https://github.com/web3j/web3j) is the Java library for working with clients on the Ethereum network. Nethereum is it's .NET equivalent.

Following this announcement, a discussion started with Brian Behlendorf regarding bringing web3j and Nethereum into the Hyperledger project.

I now wish to submit the proposal for bringing web3j into the Hyperledger project. It is available at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AapG-kqBt-OPPDh_X-R3yLDP72rHE-FUPIFl3nPA9D4/edit?usp=sharing. I would be grateful if the TSC members could review and comment on this proposal prior to the next TSC call on December 15th.
