[Hyperledger Project TSC] OSCON in London 2016

Hi TSC-ers! Just one more ping to see if anyone's interested in this, I've not heard back. I realize we're all busy but I know some of us are either in or could make a quick hop to London, and bringing this crowd over to HL would be tremendous. Let me know, thanks!

Hi folks. Several weeks ago I submitted a Hyperledger talk for the O'Reilly Open Source conference in London, happening October 17th-19th. The title was "Hyperledger: Distributed Computing with FOSS DNA" (apologies for the click-bait title) The talk was accepted, but now I find I won't be able to make it. The conference organizers are willing to review other candidate speakers for the session. You'd get a complimentary pass to the whole event, but accommodations and travel are not covered. Any volunteers?

I'll be happy to work with you on the presentation deck for the event. I was thinking I'd just give an overview of what blockchains are, specifically permissioned blockchains, then talk about the Project, then both Sawtooth Lake and Fabric, and end with an invitation to participate. An easy 30 minutes with 15-20 of Q&A. I'm willing to refer anyone who has presented before at a conference like this; it's not hard, but keeping attendees engaged and being able to answer questions directly but politely is a skill one develops over time. If you're unsure I'm happy to talk about it first.

Let me know by replying off-list. Thanks!
