on behalf of our friends at FAO, we're pleased to share an invitation to their upcoming meeting on "Blockchain Methodologies for Projects" on Tuesday, 13th July at 8am EST / 2pm CET. The webinar will highlight methodologies to run blockchain projects for the agri-food value chain and share knowledge and experiences from UNIDO and UNECE.

Blockchain is at the core of digital innovation as it relies on AI, IoT and data standards. It is also of great plus value when applied in specific projects. The next blockchain update meeting will focus on these specific methodologies. During this meeting, UNIDO and UNECE will present their valuable insights and experiences on this topic. UNIDO aims to support countries to enter the 4th industrial revolution and embrace digitalization by advising industries and governments on the benefits, readiness and feasibility of new technologies, with a focus on inclusiveness and sustainability. On their side, UNECE is implementing pilots to test its newly established traceability approach and standard in a blockchain environment, to assess the enabling role of advanced technology for transparency and due diligence in cotton and leather value chains The UN Innovation Network will also participate as special guests.
