Thanks to James for suggesting that meetup organizers have a place to chat with each other.  I agree that a chat channel is a great way to communicate among the group and works better than a list in many ways.

And apologies for any confusion about which chat service to use.  I think Rocket.Chat will be a better fit for this group.  In particular, since finding speakers is a big topic of discussion being on Rocket.Chat will let us more easily connect you to potential speakers who are also using the same system.
