Question about filedescriptor in fabric #fabric

David Enyeart

filedescriptor is an internal protobuf thing, not explicitly used by Fabric.

"Descriptors essentially contain exactly the information found in a .proto file".

Basically, Fabric uses proto messages for external contract definitions, and the various protobuf language implementations use the filedescriptor.
