Re: Adding story for new feature of 'Ledger checkpoint and pruning/archiving'

Hi Nekia,
As you may have seen that the stories in FAB-106 are only related to checkpointing. Archiving/Pruning will perhaps better be a separate Epic as it is orthogonal and sizable enough.

Yes I'll push a fix to all branches, giveme a few hours.
Regardless, you should upgrade to thelatest Fabric version of 1.4.x branch and not use 1.4.0

Hi Prasanth,
The general idea was to be conservative in exposing APIs and configurations until a need is realized. If you are keen to propose and implement this change, I would encourage you to do so.

There are a lot of variables/unknowns to work through here. The mailing list probably isn't the ideal place for that. Can you join the Hyperledger RocketChat community at https://chat.hyperledger.org

Re: Fabric 2.0 Chaincode Lifecycle
A few other questions:
- I notice you have --init-required set for your chaincode. Are you invoking the init function first?
- Which tutorial are you following from readthedocs?
Thanks,
Will

Re: Fabric 2.0 Chaincode Lifecycle
Yup here are the commands and the chaincode function.
Something very simple
async invokeTransaction(ctx, id, jsonPayload) {
await ctx.stub.putState(id, JSON.stringify(jsonPayload));
