I have looked at some comments and replies relating to the backup and restore issues....and it appears that quite new approaches have been suggested and the backup seems just stay in the fabric network. But among them what I am looking for is something like below, very primitive but the most robust backup and restore so far as far as I am concerned.

1. backup ledger data in the form of a file or a folder
2. copy the ledger data(or the folder)
3. paste the ledger data(or the folder) into a separate hard disk, an usb or a desktop, which are completely out of the fabric network.
3. when accident I just paste the backup ledger back into the original fabric folder where those ledgers had existed.

is this primitive backup method possible?
